In my dreams I see myself hitting a baseball in a green field somewhere near a freeway. I'm all tan and smiling and running from third base. And it's hot. And the sky is a blueish gray. In my dreams I see you at the foot of some mountains, and we're taking some pictures or something. And we'd better hurry up. And it's late, and the sun keeps on shooting through pine trees. And the grass stains are wet on your new jeans. And we'd better hurry up. And it just feels good when you're waking up. And it just feels good when you're next to me. And it just feels good when you're coming home. And it just feels good when you're waking up.

Best days. Fiesta potatoes, cheesy tots, and free fruitistas. Sneaking in to go camping at midnight. Owls mating in between our campsite. Cold cuddlin'. Cops pacing the grounds. Sharing sweatshirt; an arm each. Waking up early, sneakin out. Laying in bed all morning watching Charlie Bartlett and kissin and cuddlin. Getting up around noon and looking over a million stores to find a frisbee. Throwin overheads. Green green grass. Rilo Kiley in my head. So good. Best days, with you.

Every time I look at you, you always look so beautiful. Driving on the road again the Chevy’s packed. And it is dusk. And I will take some photographs, so I can dream of you. Can’t say I’ve felt such twisting in my heart this way. We pitch a tent & have one sleeping bag. Fires burning , softly singing songs. So close to you. Do you believe in love at first sight? I think you do, we're hanging now with one another. Those are the best days of my life. Can’t take away those times we stayed up and we talked all night. Chain smoking cigarettes and three bottles of red wine. Falling asleep together holding your body, close to mine. Best days of my life.

Mt. Shasta, do you remember this? We watched the sunrise.. On top of the van..no sleep till California. Blankets and bundles of sleeping bags. And then the truck drove by when you where sleepig, and Emily and I threw up the signal for him to honk his horn and you woke up abruptly. And I took pictures in your rear view mirror of every moment, and you hung one above in your apartment. Do you remember, or is it too sore now to recollect?
